Children’s Physiotherapy

Rosie has extensive experience of working with children, having worked at the Royal Free Hospital in London, the Jenny Lind Childrens Unit (Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital ) & currently she works part-time as a Specialist physiotherapist at The Each Anglia Children’s Hospice (EACH).  She is a member of the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapist (APCP) and regularly attends conferences and training courses.

Children’s physiotherapy differs from normal physiotherapy for adults as treatments must adapt to the growth and developing nature of a child.

Physiotherapy assessment

A specialist assessment will look at a childs posture, gait, strength, tone, joint range of movement and gross motor skills. From the assessment a treatment program will be tailored, specifically to meet the childs needs.
