Physiyoga offers physiotherapy treatments for musculoskeletal conditions. Physiotherapy is a science-based heath care practice, which uses a variety of assessment and treatment techniques in order to optimise an individuals physical capacity and to achieve realistic goals. Physiyoga aims to reduce your symptoms immediately and to address causative factors to help facilitate a full recovery and prevention of the reoccurrence of problems.
Physiotherapy uses a variety of treatment techniques such as soft tissue release, joint mobilisation, exercise prescription and rehabilitation, as well as acupuncture and electrotherapy (TENS/ultrasound). In conjunction with physiotherapy, Rosie uses yoga and pilates techniques to improve your body awareness and ability to manage your symptoms in the long term.
Rosie can also help you with pre- or post-natal conditions such as back pain, pelvic pain, nerve pain or help you to get back in peak physical condition following the birth of your baby.

What will happen?
On your first consultation, a detailed past medical history will be taken. Your medical history will be discussed as well as your presenting problem. You may required to remove your outer clothing in order to enable an accurate diagnosis of your problem area.
Appropriate treatment will be discussed and delivered, with your consent. You may also be given a home exercise plan to take away with you.
