What is it all about?
This 6 week course will teach you the essentials of Physiyoga . Physiyoga is taught by Rosie Taylor an experienced physiotherapist , yoga and pilates instructor.
Classes are specifically designed so that you can address muscular imbalances, sports injuries, tight or weak area in the body. They can enhance sporting performance, focus , help with chronic pain, back pain and general musculoskeletal complaints. The classes work with breath , meditation, myofascial release and deep relaxation. They always finish with restorative postures and yoga nidra ( or yogaic sleep) to help calm the nervous system and in turn assist with reducing anxiety and stress.
What will we be doing?
Classes incorporate muscle release using spikey balls, therabands and lots of fun adapted yoga and physiotherapy techniques so that you can gain the most from your yoga. Physiyoga classes also include some Pilates core exercises to enhance stability as well as flexibility and address spinal issues . Classes are alignment based, but with a strong meditative focus. The classes are basically “yoga medicine ” .. so come and try !
Where and when?
This 6 week block will be taught at the gorgeous Rowan House studio in Hethersett, from the 1st of Nov – 6th Dec 2018. 7.30pm-8.45pm
All mats, props, etc are provided so just bring a drink and wear comfy clothes.
Classes are suitable for complete beginners as well as seasoned yogini’s who’d perhaps like to learn more about how their body works !
£58 for 6 weeks including home video content via facebook group and £10 off physiotherapy or 1-1 yoga sessions with Rosie
